Ashburn Children's Dentistry will host Dentistry From The Heart, providing 100+ children with free dental care on Saturday, March 17, 2012.
One hundred children in Loudoun County from the ages of 1 to 18 will receive dental services at the Dentistry from the Heart (DFTH) event in March 2012 hosted by Dr. Lynda Dean-Duru, Dr. Anh Dang, Dr. Rishita JaJu and Dr. Patricia Wood. The free dental-care event will take place at Ashburn Children's Dentistry.
The team of dental professionals will provide the first 100 pediatric patients with a free extraction, filling or cleaning. There will be several hygienists, dental assistants and other dental professionals donating their time and resources in order to provide free dental care to as many children as possible. This Dentistry From The Heart event will provide thousands of dollars in free dental care, offering much-needed relief to children in need in the community.
Event registration will begin at 8 a.m., and patients will be seen through 2 p.m. that day. Patients are asked to arrive early as the services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Patients are also encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather and to bring chairs, blankets, water, snacks, etc. because the reception/waiting area is outdoors. At all times, children must be with a parent or legal guardian, who will be provided permission slips for treatment at check-in. The media is invited to visit the volunteers, patients, and the doctors all day.
With a national reach, Dentistry From The Heart provides services that will not only help patients' dental and overall health, but will also give children a renewed reason to smile. Over the past decade, Ashburn Children's Dentistry has grown into a leading state-of-the-art dental practice in Northern Virgina and is now reaching beyond its offices to improve smiles, relieve suffering and show gratitude to the greater community. This is the first annual community event for Ashburn Children's Dentistry, and, as with scores of other Dentistry From The Heart-affiliated practices, it will not be the last.

The Washingtonian surveyed more than 2,000 dentists regarding their peers and asked them a simple question... Which dentist besides yourself would you send a family member to?
